For When You're Ready to Laugh About Lice
In the "Hair" episode of the television show The New Adventures of Old Christine, Christine (Julia Louise-Dreyfus), is accused of introducing head lice into her son's public school. Although the show is a comedy (starring the actress who played Elaine in Seinfeld), not everyone is ready to laugh about their head lice experience until the problem is long, long gone.
Personally, I still have the occasional dream at night that we're all facing lice all over again. The upshot is that I now know exactly what to do. Head lice don't keep me up at night, but they sure do make for some crazy nightmares.
